Betty Jean Morley Austin, beloved wife, mother, sister, and Mimi, was born August 28, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas and went home to her Lord February 21, 2023 at age 88.

Betty spent her early years riding on an ambulance and working at a doctor's office. She married the love of her life in 1958 and together they raised three daughters.

In her later years she enjoyed working extended care at Trinity Klein Lutheran School and working in the school cafeteria there.
She enjoyed all kinds of music and singing in the church choir. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, William "Bill" Austin, Mother Evelyn, Father Randolph, and two brothers Randolph Jr and Clyde. She is survived by her daughters Doris Brown, Cheri Rackley, and Jennie Elliott. Grandchildren Kevin Carr (Traci), T.J. Rackley III, Megan Bogs (Blake), and Ryan Elliott (Courtney). Great grandchildren Madison Flores, Austin Carr, Rylee Elliott, and Ellie Bogs.

From doing crafts in "the room," to tending the yard, and tending chickens, she had many passions and loved her family dearly.

She was one of a kind. We will miss her always.
