Bertha Mae Jester was born in Deanville, Texas on October 31, 1927, and passed away in Houston, Texas on July 31, 2021.   She is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Gene Jester, and her parents, Elo and Bertha Laffere.

Bertha is survived by her sons, Michael Lee Jester and wife Brenda, Kenneth Alan Jester and wife Kim; daughter, Rosemary Ryann royal and husband Bill; grandchildren, Julie Marie Rowell, Michael Jester, Jr., Ronald Jester, Jr. and wife Ashley, Kara Dawn Barber and husband Craig, Kenneth Alan Jester, Jr. and wife Amber, Ashley Nicole Arizmendi and husband Napoleon, Alicia Michelle Castellanos and husband Chris, Steve Anthony Torres, William Cole royal, David Wilkening, and Jeffrey Wilkening and wife Megan; great-grandchildren, Shelby Jester, Madison & Hunter Barber, Nyla, Orion, Taylynn, Zadie & Napoleon IV Arizmendi, Katy Degner and husband Zane, Ben & Emily Stewart, Chianne Dickson, Milton George and Wesley Jester, Makayla Hughes, Dakota Hiles, Raven Hiles, Shyanne Hiles, Danielle Wilkening, and Tyler Wilkening & wife Wendy; and great-great grandchildren, Easton Hiles, Braxton Wilkening, and Kinsley Wilkening.

Bertha was a loving Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend! She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart. She prayed for everyone she knew and her fervent prayer was for all she knew to accept Jesus in their hearts and be saved. She was a light is this world and will be greatly missed.
