Bernard Joseph Kaminski age 95 of Cypress, Texas went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 24, 2021.  He was born in Houston, Texas on August 20, 1926 and raised on the family farm in Richmond, Texas.

He is a proud veteran of WWII, dropping out of high school to proudly serve his country.  Many years later he returned to school at night to earn his GED.  He married the love of his life, Dorothy Louise Dolnik, on November 22, 1952.  Shortly after marriage they made their home in Cypress where they have lived since 1959.

Bernard was a retired pipeline welder so naturally he had a shop in the back yard. He could fabricate most anything from metal and is well known for his elaborate bar-b-que pits.  He enjoyed doing whatever needed to be done from inside the cab of his John Deere.  Bernard loved his family dearly and looked forward to gatherings where he would "school-up" his kids and grandkids in washer-pitching and 42.  He was very good at both. He was very proud to inform people that every one of his grandkids had college degrees, many with Masters, and when you started talking about his family you needed to pull up a chair….there are no Cliff Notes.  Bernard and Dorothy have been members of St Anne Catholic Church in Tomball since 1956.

He is preceded in death by his son Bernard Joseph Jr.  Parents Stefan and Martha Kaminski.  His brothers Stanley, Floyd, Edward, and his sister Gertrude Kubiak.

He is survived by his wife and soulmate of 69 years, Dorothy Louise Dolnik and his sister Martha Krolczyk.   He is also survived by his sons Michael, David and his wife Catherine, Donald and his wife Beth, and Stephen. Grandkids are Bryan, Keith and wife Meghan (Finn, Cave), Lindsey Kirchner and husband Dane (Ella, Emersyn, Edison), Lauren, Christa Donalson and husband Chris (Tyler, Emma), Jason, Nicholas, Kent and wife Meg (Bryce, Kenzie, Maverick), Kyle and wife Katelin.
