Benny G. Prause, husband, father and grandpa passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021.  He was born in Houston, Texas to Johnnie and Minnie Prause.  He graduated from St. Thomas High School in Houston in 1960. He worked for Bowen Tools just out of high school and moved to Victoria, Texas where he met and married his beloved wife, Rosemary of 49 years.  He continued his career in various ventures related to the manufacturing and production of oil field products and steel.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosemary, parents, Johnnie and Minnie Prause.  He is survived by his sons, Bill Hendrix Jr. and wife, Sara of Magnolia, Roland Prause and wife, Suzie of Huntsville, Damian Prause and wife, Leia of Spring and Dion Prause of Tomball; daughters, Vianne and husband, Stephen De Young, M.D. of Sugar Land, Candi Prause of Tomball and Nancy and husband, Rex Maciejeski of Tomball; brothers, Paul Prause and wife, Kathy of Ossipee New Hampshire and Calvin Prause and wife, Donna of Sealy; sister, Barbara and husband Louis Hadjik of Sealy.

Grandchildren, Cory Hendrix and wife, Becky and Melanie Hendrix and wife, Jennifer, Michael Prause, Erin Prause, Tana and husband, Joe Ramirez III, Tayla and husband, Jordan Bartlett, Bailee and husband, Garrett Gilmer, Derek Maciejeski, Nolan Maciejeski and Rachel Maciejeski.   Great grandchildren, Corey Hendrix Jr., Kaytlynn Mae Hendrix, Isaac Ramirez, Aaliyah Ramirez, Joe Ramirez IV, Josiah Ramirez, Aariyel Ramirez, Aariyah Ramirez, Braylon Bartlett, Brynlee Bartlett, Kooper Gilmer, Adalee Gilmer, Eliott van Pelt.

Benny had a true love for family, baseball, fishing and loved spending time inventing things and on different ventures. He enjoyed dancing, playing the guitar and visiting with his friends and family. He was a supportive father that encouraged independence, individual responsibility and entrepreneurship.  He was able to remain in great mental health and humor until the day of this passing.   He loved telling jokes with a laugh and a twinkle in his eye.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home at 1400 Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 at St. Anne's Catholic Church at 1111 S. Cherry Street, Tomball, Texas 77375 at 10:30am.  A rosary will be held prior to mass at 10:00am.
