Bennie Leon DeMarco Jr., 83, was born on August 22, 1941, in Houston, Texas, and he passed away on January 10, 2025, in Houston, TX, following a brief illness. He is survived by his daughters, whom he was very proud of, Lisa Malinowski (Darrell Malinowski), Tammi Ulibarri (Erik Ulibarri), and Shelly DeMarco, as well as his grandchildren: Brent DeMarco (Megan DeMarco), Dylan Harris, Timothy Brinson (Donna Brinson), Emilee Morey (Cooper Morey), Zackery Brinson, Evan Malinowski (Amber Malinowski), Nicholas Brinson, Ethan Malinowski, and Chayse Ulibarri. He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren and his sisters, Mary Weatherl and Janet Stovall. Bennie is preceded in death by his daughter Tina Harris, mother Dollie DeMarco, father Bennie DeMarco Sr., brothers William O'Day and Louis DeMarco and sister Donna Arnold.

Bennie served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1961. He was stationed in Pensacola, FL and served time in Korea. Upon his return to Houston Bennie went to work for Lewis & Coker as a butcher. As he did not want to work for anyone for the rest of his life he started his own business - DeMarco Moving and Storage, which he ran for over 30 years. He also fulfilled his dream of owning a restaurant, operating both the moving business and Ben's Restaurant for several years. To say that daddy was a hard worker is an understatement.

Bennie cherished time spent with his family which included our traditional birthday dinners and also at his country home in Bedias, TX.  Known for his playful nature, he enjoyed making others laugh and had a generous spirit, often assisting those in need by providing groceries and other essentials. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest easy Daddy! You'll forever be in our hearts!
