Bennie Douglas Bolden of Bastrop, Texas, passed on to Heaven, June 16, 2021. He is proceeded in death by his wife Debra Paulette Dotson Bolden, daughter Wendy Lee Bolden, (Father) Ben Bolden, (Mother) Ruth Cox; (Brothers) Ricky and Jerry Bolden. He is survived by his son Douglas Aaron Bolden and husband Bobby Joe Campos, son Daniel Bolden; grandchildren Deborah, Ledessa, Rylann, Avery, and Westley Bolden; (Sister-in-law) Doris Bolden and several nieces and nephews.

Bennie was born in Welch, West Virginia on December 11th, 1951, the oldest of three sons. He shortly there after moved to Hardee County Florida, where he met the love of his life. Bennie was drafted to Vietnam for the United States Army in 1971, where he proudly served as transportation operator until 1973. Upon returning home to Hardee County, he married the love of his life Debra Paulette Dotson, and began a family together. They then married on February 6th, 1974. Three years later had their first son. In 1981 their second son was born, shortly after they moved to Texas to begin a new career in Used Oil Recycling Business with his brother (Jerry) and sister-in-law (Doris). Bennie was a family-oriented man who loved fast cars and fishing. He loved his wife and children dearly. In his later years he enjoyed his retirement and his grandchildren alongside his son and son-in-law in Bastrop, Texas. Today we celebrate his legacy and lifelong love for his family as he travels to Heaven to reunite with his loving wife Debbie after 30 years and brothers. WE LOVE YOU PAW PAW.
