BENJAMIN REYNA JIMENEZ  (1939 - 2020)

Benjamin R. Jimenez was born September 12, 1939 to Juan Jimenez and Rita Reyna in Victoria, Texas. He was a resident of Houston, Texas for approximately sixty years. He passed away on December 17, 2020. He was married to his wife Lupe Andrews Jimenez, in Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father Juan Jimenez, his mother Rita Reyna and siblings; Juliana (Julia) Cantu, Antioco (Tony), Norbeto, Juan, Celedina Garza, Jesus and Jose (from a set of triplets), John Jimenez and Candelario (Candy) Benetiz. Surviving siblings Selestino (Joe), Sylvester, Rufino (Fino) (third from a set of triplets, Penny), Maria (Mary) (Noe Mare'), and Esperanza (Hope) Kraft.

His sons; Mark A. (Elayla), John P. (Anne) and Benjamin L. (Debbie) Jimenez. Step children are Elizabeth J. Noska (Darrell Emmons), Joe Ramirez and Virginia K. Kianes'. He had six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Benjamin worked in the oil field company where he was a supervisor and in the marble company where he was a co-owner. He joined the Primerica company and was promoted to Regional Vice President and then promoted to Senior Vice President in 1989. He and his wife traveled to various places all over for his company.

He loved his work and enjoyed talking to people about his job. He was an instructor and helped others in his business. Anyone within talking distance was in for a speech about insurance and especially about securities.

He will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 5:00pm with a Deacon from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, at Klein Funeral Home, CyFair.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 4, 2021 with Father Vincent Tran, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Rd., Houston, TX 77065.

Pallbearers are Eric Emmons, John Jimenez, Mark Jimenez, Ben Jimenez, Michael Salazar, Jason Jimemez, and Joe Ramirez. With Cremation to follow at a later date.
