Frank grew up in Alabama with his parents, brother, and sisters. He spent his childhood and early years working with his family and at a young age was determined to join the military.  He enlisted in the Army and selflessly served in the Korean War.  At the end of his enlistment, he returned to his family and continued to serve the public as a city employee in Muskegon, Michigan.  After many years, his travels brought him to Texas where he met, fell in love with and married Leona.  Together they raised eleven children and built a life founded on hard work and family.  He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, taking care of his parents, working in the garden, tending to his cows, and being with those he adored.  Frank loved to be outside and would cast a line whenever he could. Frank never met a stranger and his charisma brought joy to people all around. When he was alone, he would spend his time wood working and tinkering; he loved to bring new life and purpose to old things.  Frank dedicated his last years to the love of his life; they took care of each other, traveled, and enjoyed their home and watching their family grow.  He set an example of resilience and toughness; he loved to make others smile and he loved his life out in the woods with Leona.
