Bea Vidrine, born September 15, 1929, in Mamou, Louisiana, to the late Joel and Nita (Dupre) McGee, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026.

Bea will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was rooted in faith, family, and service to others. For many years, she was an active and dedicated member of the Lady's Guild at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, where she generously gave her time and energy to support her parish community.

A woman of deep compassion, Bea was always there for those in need, offering comfort and care to family members and friends facing life-threatening illnesses. Her faith guided her daily life-she found strength in prayer, often turning to Mother Mary for guidance and faithfully praying the rosary for as long as her loved ones can remember.

Bea took great pride in her appearance, always dressing with elegance and grace. She was also an exceptional cook, best known for her ability to prepare a truly delicious gumbo that brought family together around the table.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Huey J. Vidrine; her sister, Lavina Aguillard; her brother, Mervin McGee; and her sister, Corina Granger.

Bea leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Patricia Garcia (Hank), Lowana Roberts (Randy), Darlene Simpson (Theo), and Randy Vidrine (Michael). She is also survived by her granddaughters, Lindy Smith (Eric), Lori Roberts (Jonathon), Sara Conrad (Jason), and Lisa Emery (Eric); and her great-grandchildren, Ty O'Neill, Ruby Conrad, Cora Bea Conrad, and Georgia Emery.

Her kindness, faith, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
