Barbara Jean Powell, age 73, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. Born on February 2, 1952, Barbara lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and love for her family and community.

Barbara devoted more than 30 years of her professional life to healthcare, recently retiring after serving as the Head Lab Director for multiple HCA facilities. Her leadership, commitment, and passion for excellence left a lasting impact on countless colleagues and patients, and her career stands as a testament to her tireless work ethic and service to others.

Barbara is survived by her two beloved sons: Jeremy Martinson and his wife Paula Martinson, along with their children Malyn and Charlie Martinson; and Zach Powell and his wife Kristin Powell, along with their children Colton and Hayden Powell. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Barbara's life on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Klein Funeral Home, located at 1400 W. Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375. A viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service.
