Obituary

Barbara Ann Paxton was born on May 27, 1945, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, Texas and went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2021, in the Woodlands, Texas at the age of 76.

Barbara was the second daughter of three, born to the late Garland and Mable Broom Woodard. She is also preceded in death by her older sister, Sharon Schafer, her nephew and niece, Kenneth J. Schafer and Barbara "Sissy" Rivas, and a great grandson Gavin May.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Glenn Paxton, her daughter, Tammie Polnick Rogers and husband Chris, her son, James Polnick-Pesnell and wife Gina, her grandchildren, Robert May and wife Amanda, Lindsey Cuellar and husband Tosh, Ashlyn Polnick Lee and husband Zeke, J. Sterling Polnick and wife Emily, Jayden Polnick and Brighten Polnick, and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her younger sister, LaVerne Blevins, and several nephews, nieces and extended family, and many friends who were like family to her.

Barbara's viewing and funeral service will be held at LifePoint Church 38337 Spur 149, Magnolia, Texas 77354. The viewing will be in The White Chapel on Sunday evening, September 19th from 6:00-8:00pm. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 20th at 10:30am with a graveside service to follow at Klein Funeral Home and Cemetery in Magnolia.
