Obituary

Barbara Kellogg, age 84 of Houston, Texas, peacefully passed away on November 1, 2021. With family at her side. Barbara the 4 th of 6 children, was born to Adam and Rose Zarychta on November 7, 1936 in Bremond, Texas. Barbara grew up and attended school in Bremond. Spreading her wings Barbara moved to Houston where she met the love of her life Paul Kellogg. They were married on August 25, 1956.

Barbara, "Mam Maw", to everyone that loved her had a wonderful life. She was always a hard worker but if you knew her, you would say she always took time to stop and smell the roses. She loved playing BINGO, crocheting beautiful gifts for family and friends and enjoyed watching sports which included Season Tickets to cheer on the Houston Oilers, supporting her Astros and yes even later backing The Houston Texans! Barbara loved family gatherings. She loved to hear her husband, Paul singing and playing songs on his guitar. Barbara and Paul raised four children. They had twelve Grandchildren and eighteen Great Grandchildren. Most of all Barbara loved her Lord! She loved worshiping at her church and later in life watching Mass on her TV. Now she gets to worship God in Heaven for evermore !!!

Barbara is survived by three of her children. Daughter, Deborah Blackwell & Husband Robert, Daughter, Karon Gordon, Son Gregory Kellogg & Wife Christine; Grandchildren (12); Tamara Carroll & Husband Thomas, Robyn Blackwell, Trey Blackwell, Joseph Lyons, Kristi Schultz & Husband Nathan, Mitchell Andrews, Joshua Gordon & Wife Cassandra, Jared Gordon & Wife Brooke, Justin Gordon & Wife Brittany, Christopher Kellogg & Wife Lea, Ashley Kellogg and Amber Kellogg; Great Grandchildren (18); Finley Carroll, Aria Carroll Wyatt Schultz, Charlotte Schultz, Haylea Gordon, Heidi Gordon, Bryce Gordon, Brayen Gordon Bradlee Gordon, Jackson Gordon, Adeline Gordon, Abigail Gordon, Kelli-Taylor Evenson, Hunter Quirk-Evenson, Luke Gordon, Campbell Kellogg, Cannon Kellogg and Caroline Kellogg; Sister, Elizabeth Bielamowicz, Sister, Maryann Kellogg & Husband Virgil, and Brother James Zarychta & Wife Cindy.

Barbara was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul Kellogg, Daughter, Susan Ferrel, Parents, Adam & Rose Zarychta, Brother, Ed Zarychta and Brother, Lenard Zarychta.
