Obituary

Barbara "Bobbie" Gregg, age 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, April 25, 2019. Bobbie was born on December 8, 1950 in Kingsville, Texas to her devoted parents, Wilbur "Bill" and Gertrude Gregg.

Bobbie spent her childhood in Kingsville and graduated from H.M. King High School. She later moved to San Antonio, Texas where she was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church. For the past eighteen years, Bobbie resided in Tomball, Texas at the Heritage where she made many friends and lived a happy and meaningful life.

Bobbie was a truly special person who was loved by many. She enjoyed playing card games and bingo, always had a joke to share and loved eating at her favorite restaurants. Bobbie's faith was an important part of her life and a source of comfort to her. During her years at the Heritage, Bobbie was a proud volunteer, participated in the senior olympics and took part in the Alzheimer's Society Memory Walks. She will be remembered as a loving, spirited and honest person who made us all better for having known her.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gregg. She is survived by her cousin, Malcolm Hamff and his wife, Barbara along with their children and grandchildren. In addition, Bobbie is survived by cousins, Ben Carl Speer, Steven Speer, Bill Gohlke, Michael Gohlke, Mary Ann Myer and Jack Mullins. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main, Tomball, Texas. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of one's choice.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the many people involved in Bobbie's care including Dr. Elizabeth Wanner and staff, M&H Caregivers and the caring staff at the Heritage. She will be greatly missed by all.
