Barbara Elliot Schnacke, 59, died April 11, 2017 after suffering from fronto-temporal dementia. Barbara is the daughter of Tom and Betty Elliot of Berea, Ohio. Barb is survived by her parents, her sister Nancy Beebe, her husband Art Schnacke, and sons David and Jonathan.

Barb was born and grew up in Berea, Ohio. She graduated from Berea High School where she was in the choir, orchestra and band. Her love of music and a participation in choir was essential part of Barb's life. Barb graduated from Miami University in 1979 with a BA in Microbiology. She worked as a microbiologist for the Kroger Company. In 1981 she married Art Schnacke and in 1982 they moved to New Orleans where Barb earned an MBA from the University of New Orleans. She also was a certified financial planner. She worked for First NBC as a loan officer until the birth of Jonathan. In 1990, she moved to Spring, Texas with her family where she lived until her death.

Barb was an active member of Faithbridge UMC where she participated in the women's ministry, and was a leader in Crown Financial ministry. She was also a leader in BSF. She was very active in her son's lives, a good friend, a great mother and wife who we will miss dearly.

Visitation will be held April 18 5-8 pm at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball. Memorial Service will be held at Faithbridge UMC 18000 Steubner Airline on April 22 from 11am -12. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Arrow Child and Family Ministries.
