Obituary

Barbara Diane Biggi, 86, of Hockley, passed away April 9, 2022.  Barbara was born July 26, 1935, in Tulare, California to the late Elwin A. Rose and Eldora (Bettencourt) Rose.

Barbara is survived by her children, Dawn (Rod) Kostelecky, Danielle (Grant) Whitacre, Delise (Robert) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Tennille (Dan) Weising, Brent Kostelecky, Whitney (Dustin) Buckman, Gina (Andy) Opolski, Gable (Julia) Whitacre, Ryan Hosak; great grandchildren, Koltyn, Conner, and Raygen Buckman, Andrew Opolski, sister, Cheri (Ron) Nunez; nephew Kennon Michael Jarvis and numerous friends.

Including her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Biggi and sister Colleen Glover.

Barbara moved to Texas from Colorado in 1977 to enjoy a career in accounting and worked as an independent consultant until the early 80's.  In January of 1983, she married Frank Biggi and they enjoyed traveling and embarking on fun business ventures.  Barbara was passionate about travel and meeting people from all over the world. Her travels took her to nearly all continents. True to her adventurous spirit, she became a private pilot at the age of 63. She was the life of parties and enjoyed creating great holiday meals for her family and friends. She will be loved and missed by so many.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, April 19 th , 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main St. Tomball, TX 77385.  The Rosary will take place at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 20th at 2:00 pm at St. Matthias the Apostle Catholic Church, 302 Magnolia Blvd, TX 77355, with Fr. Chris Nguyen officiating.  Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.

Serving as pallbearers are Rod Kostelecky, Grant Whitacre, Robert Wilkinson, Ryan Hosak, Andy Opolski and Gable Whitacre; honorary pallbearers are Ron Nunez, Al Waghorne, Dan Weising, Brent Kostelecky and Dustin Buckman.
