Barbara Beard, a lifelong resident of Tomball, Texas, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. Born and raised in Tomball, Barbara grew up with her beloved brother Joe in their family home on Oxford Street. She graduated from Tomball High School in 1963, where she met the love of her life, Gearald "Gery" Beard. The two were married in August of 1983 and remained devoted residents of Tomball, living within a mile of where Barbara grew up.
Barbara dedicated many years to the nursing field, working for Dr. Moon before transitioning to a long and fulfilling career as the office manager at Klein's Grocery Store, where she worked for 40 years. Her commitment to her work and her community was evident in everything she did.
Barbara had a passion for the outdoors and loved to hunt, fish, and camp with Gery and her family. Together, they enjoyed attending church picnics in small Texas towns such as Ammannsville, Dubina, La Grange, and Plum. They also frequently traveled to Weimer and Schulenburg to enjoy a change of scenery and some relaxation.
Above all, Barbara's greatest pride and joy were her son, Matthew, and her grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with her family and looked forward to cookouts and get-togethers. Her warmth, kindness, and love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be remembered and cherished by her family and many devoted friends. She will be truly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband Gerald Beard; son, Matthew Sebesta and daughter in law, Tammy Sebesta; grandchildren, Luke, Krystal and Madison Sebesta; sister-in-law, Barbara Sebesta.

Including her parents Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Marcus Glen "Joe" Sebesta and nephew, Marcus Glen Sebesta Jr.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 5th, 2024, at 2 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, with REV. Sammy Crosby officiating.  Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park 249.
