On Sunday, December 22, 2019, Audry Hunter, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 74. Audry was born on December 7, 1945 in Riverside, California to Grady and Eva Melton. She married Larry Richard Hunter in 1963. They raised one son and two daughters, Larry Hunter II, Tammy Hunter Randall, and Cyndie Hunter Drewen. Audry was a professional decorator of her own house, enthusiastic shopper, prayer warrior and gifted caregiver for all in need. She was admired by many for her art of seasonal cane decorating and for her ability to accessorize. She received an associates degree in Early Childhood in the early 90's. Audry loved teaching and spent many hours working on bulletin boards and lessons. Her young students lovingly knew her as Miss Audry. She often ran into them as grown adults and they fondly remembered Miss Audry and her wonderful class. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she loved spoiling them with treats and gifts on holidays. Even when she was not feeling well, she went out to buy things for them. When you visited her, she made sure you never went hungry and she could do more with physical ailments than many healthy women half her age. She love beautiful things. Her clothes were always fashionable and she never liked to start the day without make-up. It took her 2 1/2 hours to get dressed and do her make-up but it was so worth it when she was done. She was beautiful inside and out! Audry was preceded in death by her father, Grady, her mother, Eva and her brother, Wayland. She is survived by her husband, Larry, her three children, Larry II and his wife Kathy, Tammy and her husband Richard and Cyndie and her husband Matt , six grandchildren: Kevin and fiancé Alexa, Chris, Taylor, Shelbi, Reagan, Greyson, her special "adopted" grandson, Jacob and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
