Ashley Nicole Mendez, 35 of Pinehurst passed away November 24, 2019 at her home. Ashley was born December 13, 1983 in Houston, Texas to Gregory and Patricia Schaefer Mendez. She was an Executive Assistant to the Episcopal Diocese of Houston.

She is survived by her parents Gregory and Patricia Mendez, her son Charlie Gardipee, brothers Mathew Mendez and wife Liz and Kyle Mendez and wife Kellee as well as numerous other family members and cherished friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 12-3-2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 State Highway 249 Houston, Texas 77070, with a Vigil Service and Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, 12-4-2019 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Private interment will be held following the Mass.
