Obituary

Arthur "Art" Stockebrand, 64, of The Woodlands, peacefully passed away January 27, 2024. He was born July 25, 1959, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Dr. William John Stockebrand and Dr. Helen (Condodina) Stockebrand.

He is survived by his mother, Helen, his aunt, Alice (Bob Lickus) Condodina, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail, his father, William, and his grandparents.

Art lived in many parts of the country during his adult life and had a varied career, from accounting to managing a farm to restaurant owner. He finished out the last 15 years of his career with Marriott International, where he had varying roles, including chef, banquet manager, and kitchen manager. His love of cooking, coupled with his outgoing, laid-back personality, afforded him successful years at Marriott, winning many awards during his time there. He met the love of his life, Gail, while living in Bethlehem and always said he 'never knew love until he met Gail'. They were the perfect couple, always happy and supportive of each other. Art's passion for cooking and Gail's passion for baking made the perfect duo during their days of restaurant ownership. He missed her immensely when she passed away, but they are now reunited and laughing together again.
