Arthur Daniel Hoover of Cypress, TX, born in Corpus Christi on July 30, 1951, went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2018.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Oleta Hoover, one son, Bradan Hoover, and one grandson, Troy (T.J) Urban. He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Linda B. Urban-Hoover, brother Donald " Mack " Hoover and wife Sharon, daughters Amy Hoover, Lauren Hoover Tadlock and husband Dallas. Mother-in-law, Margaret Bailes, brother-in-law, Greg Bailes. Step-sons, James (Jody) Urban and wife Laurie, Joshua Urban and wife Krystal, Jared Urban and wife Randi. Step-daughter Heather Hampton and husband Chris. Grandchildren, Justin and Trevor Jenkins, Nick Mecum, Shannon Calton, Richard and Prentiss Urban, Jacob Urban, Brandon, Nicholas, and Megan Hampton, and Caleb and Carly Urban. Daniel was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, watching his grandkids play baseball and softball, and spending his days with his family and two dachshunds, Lucy and Sissie. He retired from the Harris County Sheriff ' s Office in 2011 after 20 years of service.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2 o ' clock in the afternoon at Klein Funeral Home and Memorial in Magnolia, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following organizations: ASPCA, Harris County Benevolence Association, or the 100 Club.
