Arthur Edward Gray Jr.

July 6, 1944 – February 24, 2020

Art is preceded in death by his father Arthur Edward and his mother Lillian Barrett Gray. He leaves behind his loving family: wife, Joan; 2 children, Elaine Love, Jennifer Lopez and husband Angel; 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Mark, Ariel, Savannah and Jack. His great granddaughters, Katye, Kylie and Bailey. Siblings, Roger and wife Shelley Gray, Ron and wife Sharon Gray and Stacey. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Art was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, attending the kids and grandkids games and events, and especially watching NASCAR. He had a successful 30 plus year career as an Oil Trader with Gulf Oil/Chevron. He enjoyed collecting Gulf Oil memorabilia and had an extensive collection that he loved and shared with all.

Art was a survivor. He lived with Parkinson's for 33 years and never complained; he met it head on. He was a strong man. Nothing kept him from living life to the fullest. And live life he did. We are all blessed to have known and loved him. Today we gather to celebrate and honor his life.
