It is with great sadness that the family of Arlington Wayne Kinninger announces his passing on March24, 2023. Proceeding Wayne in death were his parents, Arlington and Mabel Kinninger, and siblings sister, Amy Jane Thobe and brother, Danny. Wayne was a 1954 graduate of Sidney High School. Shortly after graduation he married the love of his life, Ruby Richwine, on June 26, 1954. Wayne worked as a welder for Sidney Aluminum before opening the Sohio Station on the corner of Wapak and Russell Road. He was always the friendliest greeter in Sidney at the gas pumps. In 1974, Wayne and Ruby, along with their two sons moved to Tavares, Florida. Mr. Kinninger was employed by George Nahas Oldsmobile for 20 years and the Wal-Mart Corporation. In 2007, the family moved to Cypress, Texas where Wayne continued to work for the Wal-Mart Corporation. Wayne will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, never meeting a stranger. Wayne is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruby; two sons, Steve (wife Judy) and Gary (wife Kathy); grandchildren (Michelle, Joshua (wife Lyndsey), Zachary, and Nathan); and great grandchildren (Skylar, Carnel and Logan).
