Arlene Dianna Kleb was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 18, 1944, and passed away in Houston, Texas on September 19, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her son, James Kleb, and her parents, David and Sophie Costa.

Arlene is survived by her children, Richard Kleb and Tanya Tobaben; son-in-law, Jeff Tobaben; and her grandchildren, Kari Faye Tobaben, Kayla Grace Tobaben, and Kallie Harper Tobaben.

Arlene spent her youngest years in Hawaii where she was born. she often told us, it was the best time in her life. She came to Texas when she was around 10 or so.

She went to high school in Houston. When she graduated she went to work for the phone company. After a few years there she went on to work at Texaco where she remained for the duration of her career that spanned over 28 years of service.

She also loved every dog she had but especially one named Woble. She taught her children many things in their lifetime. We learned what hard work ethic was, showing up and trying to always tough it out.

She retired at 55 and spent the rest of her life free of the 4:30 alarm clock!

She was loved dearly and will be missed until we see her again in heaven.
