It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Arabela Hinojosa, a cherished grandmother, mother, and friend who touched the lives of many. She peacefully departed from this world on July 7, 2023, in the comfort of her Houston, Texas, home. Arabela, born on August 13, 1940, to Marcelino and Guadalupe Gonzalez, was a remarkable soul known for her generosity, love, and unwavering independence.

Arabela is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Adalberto Hinojosa, as well as her siblings, Argimiro Gonzalez, Elisa Cantu, Manuel Gonzalez, Elvia Gonzalez, Ruben Gonzalez, Hugo Gonzalez, and Sergio Gonzalez. She is survived by her siblings, Elia Guerra, Isaias Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, and Chavela Flores.

Arabela's children, Elsa (Steve) Hickman, Edith Hinojosa, Beto (Monica) Hinojosa, Lupita (Catarino) Hernandez, along with her eight grandchildren, Jessica Garza, Jose Garza, Santos Moreno, Erika Diaz, Kayla Hernandez, Karen Hernandez, Marco Hinojosa, Esteban Hinojosa, and three great-grandchildren, Arianna Diaz, Daniel Diaz, and Santos Moreno III, deeply mourn her loss.

In honor of Arabela's memory, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11th, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Klein Funeral Home Cy Fair - Northwest, located at 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas, 77065. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 12th, at 10 am at the same location, followed by burial at Klein Memorial Park, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, Texas 77362.

Arabela's departure leaves a void that will be profoundly felt, and her memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

Con profunda tristeza compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de Arabela Hinojosa, una querida abuela, madre y amiga que tocó la vida de muchos. Partió pacíficamente de este mundo el 7 de julio de 2023, en la comodidad de su hogar en Houston, Texas. Arabela, nacida el 13 de agosto de 1940, hija de Marcelino y Guadalupe González, fue un alma notable conocida por su generosidad, amor e independencia inquebrantable.

En honor a la memoria de Arabela, se realizará un velorio el martes 11 de julio de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Klein Funeral Home Cy Fair - Northwest, ubicada en 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas, 77065. Se llevarán a cabo servicios funerarios el miércoles 12 de julio a las 10 a. m. en el mismo lugar, seguido del entierro en Klein Memorial Park, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, Texas 77362.
