Anthony ('Tony") Joseph Cash, III

Anthony ("Tony") Joseph Cash III, a retired salesman in the energy industry, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Klein, Texas, where he and his loving wife, Pat, moved and resided for the past 5 years to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Tony is survived by Patricia "Pat" Carrigee Cash, his wife of 52 years, and their three children, Juli Cash-Loera, Michelle Cash Dominique, and Anthony James Cash; his two sons-in-law, Jesse Loera and Rene Dominique, his daughter-in-law, Estrellita (Star) Cash, and his seven grandchildren (all of whom claim to be his favorite), Ethan Schroeder, Alex Schroeder, Rene Dominique Jr., Shea Dominique, Trey Dominique, Penelope Cash and Anthony Cash; his sister, Mary Cash Lukas (Brian), and his two brothers, Dr. Michael M. Cash (the late Diane) and Sean Cash. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Anthony J. Cash Jr, his mother, Ruth Blust Carreras, his stepfather, Juan Carreras, and his brother, Jason Cash. Tony also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and life-long friends (all of whom he considered his family).

Tony was born on March 23, 1949, in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a 1967 graduate of De La Salle High School. Tony was always busy doing something. When he was not working, he usually spent his spare time coaching his kids at the ballpark or attending girl scout events and dance recitals. He taught his children to work hard and enjoy life because it goes by so quickly. Tony also loved spending time cooking, playing golf, hunting, and fishing with his children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held May 16th, 2025 at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Klein, Texas. Visitation will take place at 11am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm. A private burial will take place at a later date.
