Antha Lea Fenton

Antha Lea Fenton, 74, was born April 07, 1950, in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Harold Marr and Jewel Stamps Marr. She left this earth to be with our eternal creator on 10/09/2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott and her loving parents. She is survived by her older sister Mary Hopper, and by her only son Robert Begley, and his wife Sylvia Begley, her granddaughters Rebecca Pokorny, Savannah Begley, Megan Begley, and Victoria Begley.

Antha traveled extensively as a child before her family settled in Houston, Texas where she would reside for the remainder of her life. She was a devoted mother, making sure her son had the best life she could provide. She loved a good tequila and loved to listen to music. Her favorite artists were Elvis Presley and Alan Jackson, but she loved just about any classic county music. Antha devoted 20 plus years of her life to the Harris County Sheriff's Department where she worked as a clerk. When she was not working, Antha devoted her time to her granddaughters whom she loved deeply.

January 2024 would change her life and the lives of her loved ones forever when she was diagnosed with stage 4 Adino Carcinoma of her lungs. Antha fought bravely for the next nine months but on October 9, 2024 she lost her battle and went to be with her Savior. She will be deeply missed but she will be remembered forever.
