Annie Lucille Holzworth's Obituary
Beloved mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother
and friend. Born 7/21/1928 to Edgar and Julia Herren (both deceased)
passed into heavenly care on 4/15/2019 at an age of 90 years
8 months 25 days. She lived a long and healthy life beginning with her
birth in Spring living with her mother and father,
brother Harold and sister Mary Alice (deceased).
She attended Spring High School and graduated in 1946
as the Salutatorian of her class. She was employed at Russell Day Lilly
Farm at SH 75 and Spring Stuebner Rd. During this time she also
attended Massey Business College in Houston and began dating her
future husband Lewis Holzworth (deceased). They married in February of
1948. They were married for 56 years, living on the old Holzworth
homestead and raising two children Larry and Julie. She was a devoted
member of Immanuel United Church in Spring and an active member
of the Women's Guild enjoying the various activities, especially
the quilting and fellowship. She also enjoyed senior day, helping with
BBQ's, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Easter and Christmas
festivities. She was active until her health declined and she could no
longer walk. She is preceded in death by her parents Edgar and
Julia Herren, her husband Lewis Holzworth and her
son in law Bill Stafford. She is survived by her son Larry and
wife Susan and her daughter Julie Stafford.
Grandchildren Jennifer and Rocky Dewbre, Justin Holzworth,
Jared Holzworth, William Stafford, Brian and Jennifer Stafford
and David and Brandy Stafford. Great Grandchildren Tyler Stafford,
Luke Stafford, Ashlynn Stafford, Taylor Babb and Madison Babb.
Also survived by her brother Harold and wife Shirley and there
children and grandchildren.
