Annette Lee Romano Mandola

November 27, 1935 –  April 4, 2024

Annette Lee Romano Mandola was born on November 27, 1935 to Albert Lee Romano and Rosa Testa Romano and passed away on April 4, 2024.

She married her soulmate, Vincent J. Mandola, on January 21, 1951 and remained married for over 60 years until Vincent passed away in April 2011.

Annette spent her younger years raising her three children and then began a successful career in banking in the Houston area. She was an avid Texas A&M supporter. She was proud to be a life long Houstonian and proud of her Sicilian heritage. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother and she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them.

Annette is survived by her children, Lenette Mandola Terry and William, Dr. Joseph G. Mandola and Jennifer, Albert G. Mandola and partner, Cheryl Wardlow; grandchildren, Lincoln LeCompte and Lauren, Dr. Vincent Joseph Mandola and Alexandria, Angela Ballay and Andrew,, Lindsey Diagle and Corey, Lauren Mandola, Mikaela Mandola, Joseph Vincent Mandola, Elena Mandola, B. J. Terry and Shelly, Jeff Terry; brother-in-law, Anthony J. Mandola and JoAnn; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Vincent Joseph Mandola; father and mother, Albert and Rosa Romano; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Lena Mandola; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Mandola.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers Mom has requested donations be made to the St Jude's Research Fund.

The family wants to give special thanks to Lindy, April, Ruth and Meree for their special care.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at St Cecilia's Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Dr, Houston, Texas 77024. There will be a reception to follow at the church. Afterward the family will hold a private graveside service.
