In Loving Memory of Annette Garza
December 8, 1959 – April 1, 2025
Annette Garza passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, after a courageous and lengthy battle with breast cancer. She was 65 years old.
Born on December 8, 1959, in Houston, Texas, Annette was raised alongside her four siblings in a loving and faith-filled home. Her early career began in the fashion industry, where she quickly rose through the ranks with her drive and creative spirit. Later, after marrying and becoming a mother to three children, Annette discovered her true calling in childhood education.
Annette spent ten years teaching at St. Jerome Catholic School, where she laid a foundation of faith and education not only for her students but also for her own children. She went on to serve as Director for several Christian private schools, thriving in her mission to nurture young minds and share the love of Jesus.
Her passion for education led her to become a Texas Registered Trainer, where she mentored teachers, helped them earn their Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials, and organized professional development conferences as a consultant.
In addition to her work in education, Annette was a gifted event planner. Her warm, organized nature brought joy to every family celebration, holiday, and gathering she hosted. She was best friends with her children and shared her love through the meals she prepared and the family traditions she created. One of her most treasured legacies is the family cookbook she lovingly crafted with her granddaughter, Parker.
Annette is survived by her beloved mother, Bertha; her siblings, Michael, Denise, William, and Yvonne; her cherished children, Alexander, Jacqueline, and Gabrielle; and her grandchildren, Parker and Jace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main St., Tomball, TX 77375. A graveside ceremony and reception will follow. Pallbearers will include her son Alexander, brothers Michael and William, cousin Henry, and sons-in-law Michael and Zeke.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in care of Annette Garza.
