Anne was born May 6, 1953, age 64, and passed away on February 20, 2018. She was raised in Alexandria, LA by her parents Bess & Aloe Mayeux. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved sister Lynne London.  Anne attended Bolton High School in Louisiana.   She was involved in the swim team and was an accomplished water skier. From there, Anne attended College at Northwestern State University where she earned her degree in education.  She then moved to Shreveport, LA where she became a teacher that the students loved and admired. She also received her Masters degree from Louisiana State University. To further advance her Education, she packed everything up and moved to

Knoxville, TN. While working on her PHD from The University of Tennessee, she landed a job with the University in Quality Control through Statistical Analysis. This enabled her to travel the World.   She was an avid sports fan, especially for her Lady Vols and LSU Tigers.  She also enjoyed hiking the beautiful Smokey Mountains.  While in Tennessee she developed a passion for wildlife rehabilitation. Her one true love was her pet raccoon Kemah and her many dogs.  After the passing of her mother, Anne packed up one more time and moved to Texas to be closer to her remaining family.  There she continued her love for wildlife rehabilitation at Friends of Texas Wildlife where she met lifelong friends and spent hours volunteering.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and of course shopping.  Anne was known for her love for others and her feisty, larger than life attitude.
