Anna August, 78 of Cypress, Texas passed away February 12, 2024. She was born June 11th, 1945, in Kilmarnock, and grew up in Troon, Scotland to the late Thomas Donaldson and Annie (Heaney) Watt.

She is survived by her Daughters Monica and her husband David, Susan and her husband Jim; Sister Monica, Brother-in-law Jake; Grandchildren Jeff, Georgia and her husband Frank, Jack and his wife Allison, Joe and his wife Sharon; Great grandchildren Penny, Hank, Ruth, Charlie and Lincoln; Nephews Jason and his partner Alex, Grant and his wife Miranda, Niece Lee-Ann and her husband Jason; Great Nephews Connor and Xander; Great Niece Lexi, as well as many other friends that loved her.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Ron August, parents Tommy and Anna, Sister Mary, and Nephew Lance.

Anna moved to Texas with her family as a teenager. She spent her career in finance and later in Human Resources. Amongst her many accomplishments, she was the first local and second National woman President of the Treasury Management Association (TMA). Her career accomplishments were not important to her. What mattered most to her was her relationship with The Lord and the people in her life. She was happiest helping others and spending time with family and friends.

Anna treated everyone like family and never wanted anyone to spend holidays alone. She always invited people in for and  provided beautiful holiday meals to enjoy.

Memorial Service will be held Sunday February 25th, 2024 at 2pm at First Baptist Church of Cypress, 14515 Cypress North Houston, Rd.,
Cypress, TX 77429
