Ann Martin McWilliams went home to her Lord at the age of 71 on Friday, July 7, 2023. Ann was born on November 11, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James R. Martin, Sr and Elizabeth Collins Martin.
Ann was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin and friend. Her family and friends meant the world. Her servant heart showed through with loving and supporting all. God have her a special heart for children which she showed by caring for children starting at a very young age with her brother and sister, then her own precious children and her nephews and nieces. Special bonds were also formed over the years with the children she would care for in her home. She found a way to share this love of children at Cypress Bible Church where she served as the MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) childcare director.
As a timpani player, she shared her passion for music in the Little Rock Central High School band and in the orchestra at Cypress Bible Church. She passed this passion for music onto her children and always encouraged children in the family in their musical pursuits.
Ann found great strength and joy in her faith. Her love for the Lord was unwavering and guided her actions throughout her life. She attended Cypress Bible Church for many years.
Ann is preceded in death by her father, James R, Martin, Sr, her mother, Elizabeth C. Martin, her sister, Darleen Brion, and her daughter, Elizabeth McWilliams.
Ann's memory will forever be cherished by her adoring family. She is survived by her husband, Gary, son, Paul, brother, James R. Martin, Jr. and wife Victoria, sister, Mary Martin, brother-in-law Roger McWilliams and wife Carol, brother-in-law Clark McWilliams and wife Carrie.
