FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING – THOU ART GOD

Anita Mae Fenner (Heintze), 84, of Spring, TX, entered eternal life on July 28, 2023.

Anita was born May 29, 1939 in Clinton, LA to the late Walter and Geneva Heintze. She graduated from Clinton High School in Harrisburg, PA. in 1957 and from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA in 1961.

She met her husband, Jack Arthur Fenner while attending Louisiana Tech University and they married on July 28, 1962. They had four children and lived in Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina before moving back to Spring, Texas in 1979.

Anita was predeceased by her husband Jack, parents Walter and Geneva Heintze, sister Barbara Chelsted and brother Paul Heintze.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Stephani Padgett (husband Ben and daughter Hanna); daughter, Jacquelyn Fenner; son, Douglas Fenner (wife Stacey, daughters Abby & Arlen, grandson Traevion and granddaughter Kinsley); son, Stephen Fenner, and brother Richard Heintze.

Anita's love for teaching began at an early age and while she quit to stay at home with her children, continued teaching once they were older. She retired from teaching at the age of 75 and was beloved by fellow teachers, students, and parents alike. She loved playing bridge with her friends, attending various bible studies and singing in the church choir. She is a charter member of Resurrection Lutheran Church which she has attended for 51 years.

In her life, Anita was known for her kindness, humility and caring. Most importantly, Anita loved her family and had a steadfast faith in God. Her strength, faith and caring were evident in her daily life. Anita leaves a beautiful legacy of love of God and family.

A Reception and Celebration of Life Service life will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, starting at 10:00am at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1612 Meadow Edge Ln. Spring, TX 77388. Reception/Visitation will begin at 10:00am, followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am.
