Angelica Garza graduated from MacArthur High School in 1987 and the University of Houston-Downtown in 1994. She was her high school's Senior Class President. She married Mark Garza on September 4, 1987 until her passing. She had a great sense of humor and was a devoted wife and loving mother.

Angelica had the pleasure of working for the Houston Police Department for 31 years in several positions and divisions. She was known for her integrity and leadership skills. She loved movies, music, tea parties, the performing arts, cooking, decorating for Halloween and Christmas, and spending time with her children, family, and friends.

Angelica is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Henrietta Gonzalez, daughter Micaela Garza, and brother-in-law Victor A. Lozada.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Aaron and Anton Garza; her sisters Theresa A. Lozada, Maria E. Gonzalez; brothers Juan (Kim) Gonzalez Jr., Michael (Gloria) Gonzalez, and Daniel (Vicki) Gonzalez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
