Andrew Stewart Cordar (1988–2024)

Andrew Cordar, 35, of Cypress, Texas, died on February 2, 2024.

Andrew was born in Douglasville, GA in 1988 to Tom and Beth Cordar. At age 14 Andrew met his future wife Amanda and together they continued their educations before moving to California and starting a family.  Andrew attended The University of Southern Mississippi before going to the University of Florida where he earned his PhD in computer science.  Andrew loved working through technical problems and puzzles and found joy in creating through the use of technology.

Andrew's legacy lives on through his parents: Tom and Beth Cordar, his brothers John Ridgway and Justin Cordar, Mother in law Pam Ramage, sister in law Abby Ramage Taylor and brother in law Collin Taylor- as well as nieces and nephew Riley, Paige and Brooks, and his wife and partner of 21 years: Amanda Cordar, along with their two beautiful and intelligent children: Ollie and Emmy. Their zest for life and thirst for knowledge will keep their father's memory alive.

A Celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a future time.
