Andrew John Campbell, 43, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on December 31, 2022, after being involved in a motorcycle incident.

John was born on June 22, 1979 to Andrew and Carol Campbell in Houston, Texas. After John graduated from Magnolia High School in 1998, he went on to work in multiple fields before finally joining the US Army in 2007. John made multiple deployments while serving as a mechanic and recovery specialist for the Army. He first deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom, and then again deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. During his final deployment in Afghanistan, John received severe injuries from an IED and was sent back to the United States where he was medically retired from the US Army.

After the Army, John went on to take care of his family and continue his hobbies of big trucks, motorcycles, and automotive repair. He had a deep love of travel and nature. John was a man that would overextend himself in the pursuit of helping others. He worked hard to give his family what he could and was always someone to look to for help.

John was predeceased by William Campbell (Grandfather), Carol Lynn (Mother), and Colleen Dickerson (Daughter).

He is survived by Andrew Campbell, Sr. (Father), Stephanie Campbell (Wife), Jordan Dickerson (Daughter), Avery Campbell (Daughter), Kara King (Daughter), William Campbell (Brother), Katherine Wells (Sister), Judy Trevino (Sister), and Cameron White (Grandson).

A memorial service celebrating John's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 12, at Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia. Friends are welcome to visit the family beginning at 1 p.m.
