Andrés Rodríguez Jiménez nació en Buenavista, Querétaro, México el 2 de julio de 1974 y falleció en The Woodlands, Texas el 5 de abril de 2026.

Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Jesús Salvador Rodríguez, y su hermana, Irma Rodríguez.

A Andrés le sobreviven su amada esposa, Ana María Rodríguez Tapia; sus hijas Andrea Rodríguez, America Rodríguez y Abril Rodríguez; su madre, María Pueblito Jiménez Bustos; y sus hermanos, Pedro Rodríguez, Cris Rodríguez, Mauricio Rodríguez, Analilia Rodríguez, Fátima Rodríguez, Carmelina Rodríguez, Jesús Rodríguez y Juan Ramón Rodríguez.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 5 a 8 p. m., el 10 de abril de 2026 en Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379. Se llevará a cabo una misa de cuerpo presente para Andrés a las 10:30 a. m. el sábado 11 de abril de 2026 en Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1922 Tomball Pkwy., Houston, TX 77070.

Andrés y su esposa Ana María se conocieron cuando ella tenía 11 años y él 12 años. Tuvieron un hermoso noviazgo de 6 años y 33 años de casados donde fueron inmensamente felices con mucho aprendizaje en el transcurso del camino. De este amor nacen y florecen tres hermosas hijas que llenaron de felicidad su hogar. Andrés fue un hombre de familia, inseparable de su esposa, excelente proveedor, padre amoroso, hombre fuerte, valiente, lleno de vitalidad, buen amigo y compañero. Era muy divertido, ocurrente, bondadoso y único. En sus propias palabras "ostero". Andrés era un "amante de la vida del campo y los animales."

Andrés fue camionero de profesión y de corazón como aquí se les dice "trailero" donde el disfruto el poder conocer nuevos lugares y destinos. También, conocido como el "Flaco" o "Andru".

Para seguir conociendo quien fue este gran padre, hombre y hermano.

Su hija America describe a su papá, "El era la persona mas chistosa, lleno de felicidad y muy sabio. Él era tan sencillo, pero decía las cosas como era. Tenía un amor para los animales y la naturaleza."

Agregando a las palabras de su hija Abril y una broma entre familia, diciendo "tengo algo que decir". Su hija Abril le escribe y dice a su papá lo siguiente "Papá, te quiero con todo mi corazón y se que te voy a extrañar cada día. Eres el mejor Papá del mundo, te amo y ya siento cuanto te voy a extrañar. Gracias por todo tu amor, papá. Te quiero mucho y te voy a extrañar siempre."

Su hija Andrea le escribe lo siguiente a su papá, "Estoy feliz con mi papá, su alma siguió su camino celestial. Me dejó todo su amor, me llenó de fortaleza para seguir adelante en esta vida tengo un gran ejemplo a seguir, ser feliz, disfrutar la vida, ser amable y tener respeto. Yo lo llevaré en mi corazón para siempre. El y yo estamos agarrados de la mano por una eternidad de ahora en adelante. El me guiará como lo hizo en vida, el siempre cuido muy bien de mí. Él fue el mejor papá cómo le decía a él estoy orgullosa de ser tu hija. Gracias por ser Mi Padre."

Su hermano Cris lo describe así, "Para mi Andrés fue un hermano sencillo y con valor más que el oro, con un corazón de niño, y sabio entre muchas cosas. Era una caja de memorias con esa felicidad que tenía siempre. Esos consejos muy acertados y un gran amor para todos y platica que nunca tuvo fin."

Su hermano Pedro dice, "me preguntaron que como describiría al "Flaco", para mi fue mi mano derecha, mi apoyo. Él y yo éramos muy chismosos. Nos decían no digas y casi nos decían dilo, dilo y siempre nos decíamos las frescas del día."

Su hermano Mauricio dice, "de igual manera para mi Andrés fue mi mano derecha y de verdad siempre me hacia las cosas más fáciles."

Su hermana Fatima lo describe así, "para mi Andrés era un niño, un ser humano de carne y hueso con aciertos y equivocaciones. Muy sabio, con un don de gente increíble. Yo diría especial con un corazón de niño."

Su hermano Ramon lo describe así, "Hombre de amor, paciencia, y travesuras. Un gran acercamiento a los niños y también, irresistible a sus platicas."

Andrés deja un legado de amor, alegría y enseñanzas que vivirán para siempre en el corazón de su familia y de todos quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo.

Andres is survived by his loving wife, Ana María Rodríguez Tapia; his daughters, Andrea Rodríguez, America Rodríguez, and Abril Rodríguez; his mother, Maria Pueblito Jiménez Bustos; and his siblings, Pedro Rodríguez, Cris Rodríguez, Mauricio Rodríguez, Analilia Rodríguez, Fatima Rodríguez, Carmelina Rodríguez, Jesús Rodríguez, and Juan Ramon Rodríguez.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, April 10, 2026, at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379. A funeral mass for Andres will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 Tomball Pkwy., Houston, TX 77070.

Andrés and his wife, Ana María, met when she was 11 years old and he was 12. They shared a beautiful six-year courtship followed by 33 years of marriage—a time of immense happiness and profound mutual growth along the way. From this love, three beautiful daughters were born and blossomed, filling their home with joy. Andrés was a true family man—inseparable from his wife, an excellent provider, a loving father, and a strong, courageous man full of vitality, as well as a loyal friend and companion. He was incredibly funny, witty, kind-hearted, and truly one of a kind. In his own words, he was an "ostero"—a true character. Andrés was a "lover of country life and animals."

Andrés was a truck driver by profession and by heart—or a "trailero," as they are affectionately called here—a career through which he delighted in discovering new places and destinations. He was also known as "Flaco" or "Andru."

His daughter America describes her dad this way: "He was the funniest person—full of joy and incredibly wise. He was so down-to-earth, yet he always told it like it was. He had a deep love for animals and nature."

Echoing his daughter Abril's words—and referencing a running joke within the family—she simply says, "I have something to tell you." His daughter Abril writes and says the following to her dad: "Dad, I love you with all my heart, and I know I will miss you every single day. You are the best dad in the world; I love you, and I can already feel just how much I'm going to miss you. Thank you for all your love, Dad. I love you so very much, and I will miss you always."

His daughter Andrea writes the following to her father: "I am at peace regarding my dad; his soul has continued its heavenly journey. He left me all his love and filled me with the strength to keep moving forward in this life. I have a great example to follow: to be happy, to enjoy life, to be kind, and to show respect. I will carry him in my heart forever; he and I are holding hands for all eternity, from this moment on. He will guide me just as he did during his lifetime; he always took such good care of me. He was the best dad—just as I used to tell him—and I am proud to be your daughter. Thank you for being my father."

His brother Cris describes him this way: "To me, Andrés was a humble brother—worth more than gold—with the heart of a child, and wise in so many ways. He was a treasure box of memories, always radiating that happiness he possessed. He offered such sound advice, showed immense love for everyone, and was always ready for a conversation that never seemed to end."

His brother Pedro says: "I was asked how I would describe 'Flaco.' To me, he was my right-hand man, my rock. He and I loved to gossip. People would tell us, 'Don't say a word!'—yet it was almost as if they were daring us to say it anyway—and we would always share the latest news of the day with each other."

His brother Mauricio says: "Likewise, for me, Andrés was my right-hand man; he truly always made things easier for me."

His sister Fatima describes him thus: "To me, Andrés was a child at heart—a human being of flesh and blood, with his share of triumphs and mistakes. He was very wise, with an incredible gift for connecting with people. I would describe him as truly special, with the heart of a child."

His brother Ramon describes him this way: "A man of love, patience, and playful mischief. He had a wonderful way with children and, likewise, his conversation was simply irresistible."

Andrés leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and wisdom that will live on forever in the hearts of his family and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
