Andrea was named after her father, Andrew. Some people called her "Andy" (like her Dad), others called her "A" but mostly she was known by her family and close friends as "Cissy". As a toddler, big brother Kent called her "Cissy" and she proudly accepted the nickname from that day forward.
Andrea's parents recognized her musical talent at a very early age and she started playing the piano. As a teenager she played the piano for Hidden Valley Baptist Church.
She joined the band in Junior High and was a twirler in the High School Band.
Her love for music took her to Sam Houston State University where she was a music major.
While living in Dallas, Andrea found the love of her life, Bob. They married for almost 30 years.
Over the years, career opportunities allowed them to live in Chicago, Maryland, Nevada and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Each move brought new career opportunities for her relating to marketing, the travel industry, event planning with Disney and to owning her own successful real estate company in Cabo.
She had such a love for her family, friends, music, traveling, her dachshund puppies but her true passion was her business. She was such a hard worker. Her vacation rental business in Galveston had quadrupled in size from when she started in just a matter of a few years.
The past few months had brought so much happiness into her life, she often referred to Frank as her love. He truly brought a sparkle to her eye.
Although her passing was sudden and unexpected, Andrea's life was full of passion… full of life… full of joy. Andrea's life was amazing. If all of us could have a life like hers… what a wonderful world it would be!
