On the morning of October 22, 2025, at the age of 75, Andrea "Andy" Sue DeBerry unexpectedly passed away at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Cypress,Texas due to complications from an infection. She was quickly taken into her heavenly Father's hands and lifted from recent physical pain.

She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Dawn and Walter Garms; her younger brother, Scott Holmes DeBerry; and her former husband, Robert Bruce Jones. She is survived by her sons, Travis and Brandon Jones; her father, Russell Edsel DeBerry; her brother, Mark Alan DeBerry (Beverlee); and her sisters, Marcia DeBerry Wilson (Robert), Dana DeBerry Orihel (Tim), and Trish DeBerry.

She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Lindsey DeBerry, Aubrey DeBerry May (Cody), Sara DeBerry, Carly Roberts Hinojosa, Bryan Orihel (Ashley), Tracee Orihel Matheson (Clayton), Jordan DeBerry, Adam DeBerry (Andi), Rachel DeBerry McFall (Blake), Scott Mejia, and Maddie Mejia; and great-nieces and great-nephews Harper Hinojosa, Greyson and Corbyn Orihel, Parker DeBerry, Gene and Farrah McFall, Mia DeBerry, Ava and Abbie DeBerry, Amelia May, and Madisyn and Makenzi Matheson.

Special friends include her former sister-in-law Julie Braddock Scandridge (Stuart), Ron Spath, Peggy Staats, and Jack Piekalski.

Andrea was born on July 19, 1950, to Russell E. DeBerry and Lois Dawn Gardner at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. The oldest of six children, she honed her nurturing and homemaking skills early, relishing the role of big sister and babysitter while her parents were at work. She graduated from MacArthur High School in 1967 as the Outstanding Vocational Education Student and began working in the secretarial services field while attending college.

Always drawn to business management and administration, Andy worked as a stenographer, bookkeeper, and accountant, and earned a certification in court reporting along the way. She married her husband, Robert Bruce Jones, on January 29, 1977. Together, they established an oil brokerage business in Houston, Texas, and raised two sons, Travis and Brandon.

Andy retired as Chief Financial Officer of Falcon Products, a Houston-based oil brokerage and trading firm, where she had worked since its inception.

In addition to being an accomplished businesswoman, Andy was a devoted homemaker who deeply loved her family, friends, and pets. She sewed, cooked, and played the piano; she loved birds, shopping, jewelry, and looking her best. She also delighted in travel, movies, art—and, of course, babies.

Perhaps what will be missed most is Andy's sense of humor. When gathered with family, it was not unusual for her to be doubled over in laughter at a joke or a comical story. Her laughter was infectious.

An Angel of Light, she carried a torch for everyone she knew, speaking only positive, loving words. She was never drawn into gossip or negativity. A great listener, she often deferred to those who sought the spotlight but still found quiet, creative ways to make others feel special—through her beautiful handmade greeting cards and her thoughtful "snippets" of wisdom.

She was pure of heart and full of optimism, even when life was not going according to plan.

We will miss and love our "Andy Panda" always and are comforted by the scripture of Matthew 5:8 – "Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God."
