Anastacio (Tacho) Trevino Jr., was the second child born to Anastacio And Santos Trevino. Tacho was born on October 17, 1942 in Charlotte, Texas.
Shortly after graduating high school Tacho enlisted in the United States Air Force. While serving at Maxwell Air Force base he met Frances Louise Mills, and married on October 20, 1967. Three children followed, son Greg and daughters Lisa and Lori.
Besides his family, Tacho's lifelong passion was the Boy Scouts of America. He served as an adult volunteer leader for 38 years. Some of his positions included Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Troop Committeeman and Chairman at the troop level. He also served in numerous volunteer positions at the district level including Unit Commissioner. He was awarded numerous awards and recognitions for his
service. The two that brought him the greatest joy were the Silver Beaver Award and the Vale de Pena Award.
Tacho is survived by loving wife of 50 years Frances L. Trevino; son Greg Trevino; daughter and son in law Lisa and Antonio Moawad; daughter and son in law Lori And Clayton Colburn; grandchildren Brian Fowle, Sophia Moawad, Sam Moawad, Anthony Moawad, Alex Colburn, Aurora Colburn and Eric Colburn; sisters and brothers Delia Zisman, Dovie Trevino, Fermin Trevino, Viki Trevino, Alicia Jordan, Adan Trevino, Eva Soper and Emma Curry.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Anastacio And Santos Trevino; brothers David Trevino, Fabian Trevino and Pedro Trevino; Sisters Sylvia Alferes and Elma Trevino.
