Anaihi E. Carcamo was born in Houston, TX on December 3, 2003.  On February 9, 2025, she went to be with the Lord at the precious age of 21, and she is now serving a higher purpose. She was an amazing person, daughter, grand-daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and co-worker.

Anaihi graduated from Cypress Ranch High School where she lettered in Choir. She passionately loved music and singing, which she enjoyed with her choir family at Cy-Ranch.

Anaihi graduated from Lone Star College with an Associate's Degree. She was enrolled and completing the requirements for her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Texas San Antonio Campus, where she was a Business major, and a Senior.  She was planning to pursue her Master's Degree after graduation.

To her friends and coworkers, Anaihi was affectionately known as Ana.  She was the epitome of a team player, loved working and had a great work ethic. She had found her work home at Starbucks, where she was about to celebrate an anniversary with the team she truly considered as family. She loved to cook and focused on working in related industries to prepare for her long-term dream of someday owning and operating her own restaurant.

Anaihi had so many passions and dreams.  She loved all things related to cooking and baking, but it had to be homemade. That's right, there was no way she was going to touch a box of brownie or cake mix, it had to be from scratch.  In fact, the mere suggestion that she use a mix would get you a scorched earth response; yes, that's how serious it was to her.  She wasn't just a creator of fine cuisine, she was a connoisseur of it as well.  She loved her Mom's and Abuela's home cooking.  Her Dad's BBQ and grilled Jalapenos were tops on her request list.  She loved to read and could get lost in a good book for hours at a time.  Her Christmas list would always start with some best sellers available at B&N.  As you might expect, after reading hundreds of books, she was a fierce competitor at the Scrabble board; she took no prisoners in the war of vocabulary.  She loved all of the family pets and she is likely unapologetically saying from up above that Audrey was her favorite.  She was a talented artist and always loved to draw and paint. She never passed up an opportunity to put a canvas to use or to convince Grandma that she needed even more art supplies to add to her already colossal collection.  She loved movies and could disappear off the radar on the occasion that she found a new binge worthy show.  She was a list maker like her Dad and Tia Swani.  It was imperative to have an ample supply of spiral notebooks and markers at her side.  The utility of the list was important, but to her, it was quite possibly secondary to the creativity that went into them.  She didn't grab a calendar and make some entries, she created a calendar and populated it.  Everything was color coded, always.  She enjoyed a good old fashioned sibling rivalry with her Brother, Shane. They could entertain everyone with their sibling antics and it was all in good fun.  She loved to shop with her friends, and with her Tias, Swani and Swinda. Like her Mom, Anaihi enjoyed being out and about, experiencing new places and prioritized friendships.  Anaihi was a next-level friend.

We can't begin to list all of her family and friends who will miss her dearly.  She is survived by her Mom, Eileen; her Dad, Eric; and her Brother, Shane.  She will forever be loved and cherished by her family.

Donations to Mothers Against Drunk Driving are encouraged in lieu of flowers. To honor Anaihi's passion for literature, any new or used book donations received at the visitation will be collected and shared with other young readers.
