Alyssa Nicole Martinez, of Houston, Texas, was born on November 21, 1990, and passed away on September 25, 2020 after a long battle with Covid.

She is survived by her parents, Janie Cuellar Martinez and Frank Neal Martinez; her siblings, Jessica Lorraine Martinez, Dailynn Martinez, and Devynn Martinez; grandparents, Bill and Rachel Shilling, and Beatrice Saenz Noteboom; uncles, Joe Cuellar, Jesus Rios, and Rosalio Peppin; aunts, Gracey Gipson, RoseAnna Rodriguez, Melissa Martinez White, and Elvira Brown; and many other cousins and loved ones.

Alyssa was a ray of sunshine in everyone's lives that she touched. You could ask anyone about her and they would say the same thing... That she was loving and kind and had the biggest heart. She was truly an earth angel and on September 25th we truly believe in our hearts that she has gained her wings! She will always be in our hearts and on our minds. Alyssa was one in a million and there will never be another like her. She will forever shine bright like a diamond!
