Alvin Wayne Hahn, 77, passed from this life and went to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Tomball, TX. He was born to the late Alvin and Annie Mae Hahn on September 8, 1946 in Brenham, TX.

Those left to cherish his memories are Barbara, his loving wife of 51 years; son, Alvin Robert Hahn II and his wife Jennifer and their children Sadie, Nathan, and Zachary; daughter Alicia Hahn Altman and her husband Wade and their children Avery Altman Harris and her husband Dustin, Andrew, and Austin; and daughter Amy Hahn Gainer and her husband Jan-Morgan. He is survived by his sister Milanne Shelburne Hahn and preceded in death by both of his parents.

His family and friends knew him as a man of unyielding strength, courage and determination; an inspiration to so many and a witness of his faith and trust in God's unfailing love. He was a devoted father and husband who treasured his family, a diehard fan of the University of Texas Longhorns, a beloved Klein ISD Coach, a devout and actively involved member of his church, a respected State Farm Insurance Agent for 28 years, a passionate golfer and skilled woodworker.

Al had an exceptional ability to bring laughter and joy into the lives of those around him, leaving behind fond memories of his sharp wit and uncanny humor that will forever brighten our hearts.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main Street, Tomball, Texas. The funeral service for Mr. Hahn will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Abiding Word Lutheran Church, 17123 Red Oak Drive, Houston, Texas 77090. A brief reception will follow the service at Abiding Word Lutheran Church with burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alvin Hahn's name to Abiding Word Lutheran Church.
