Alta Grace Thornton, age 78, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Tomball, Texas. Alta is preceded in death by her husband Archie and parents Sylvester and Mary. Survivors include her sons: Roy "Allen" Thornton and wife Cheryl, Roger Lee Thornton and wife Linda; grandchildren: Megan Marie Atencio and husband Karlis, Christopher Lee Thornton and wife Alex, Travis Roy Thornton and wife Candice, Allen Ryan Thornton and wife Emily and step-granddaughter Malory Alice Moyer in addition to seven great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
