Alma Fandrich, age 92, passed away on November 30, 2019 in Tomball, TX. Alma was born in Denhoff, ND on February 15, 1927 to Gust and Minnie (Ehnes) Heinle. She graduated from Goodrich High and received a Provisional Certification to teach school which she did right after high school. She married William Fandrich in 1946. They farmed together living on the family farm north of Goodrich for many years. Preceded in death by her husband William Fandrich, brothers: Raymond Heinle, Harold Heinle, and Otto Heinle. Survived by siblings:  Walter Heinle, Leona Bold, Ella Opp, Doris Ahlman, Linda Morgan, Donna Kingman, and Mary Peterson. Children: Carolyn (Dennis) Lehmann, Tomball, TX and Curtis Fandrich, Magnolia, TX. Grandchildren: Darren (Helen) Lehmann, parents of Sarah and Will Lehmann, Shaun (Chelsea) Lehmann, parents of Hannah & Kayla Lehmann, Meryl Fandrich (Eric) Cabrera and Cara Fandrich.

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is also survived by the many friends she made over the years during her time in North Dakota and Texas.

One of her favorite stories to share was the serendipitous occasion so many years ago that brought her to that teaching license. It afforded her the opportunity to tap into her true passion which she loved most: mentoring others!

Over the years she developed that gift by teaching at her church, leading Vacation Bible Schools, Pathfinder Leader, and various positions in her community and civic leadership.  Many will remember her for her gift of hospitality and seeking out and serving others in need. Alma remained a devoted follower of Christ and supporter of the Seventh - day Adventist church in Goodrich, ND even when she couldn't attend.

Alma's family remembers how she would always end her prayers:  "That we would all meet in the kingdom someday."  This was her heart's desire and a reminder.
