Obituary

Allisa "Lisa" Lynn Winslow Moss was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Sadly, she left this world on the morning of May 26, 2022 at the age of 56.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Matt Moss; children: Brandon Moss (Sara) and Ryan Moss (Brittni); mother, Susan Winslow; siblings: Cindy Winslow, Deena Lipscomb (Bob), and Steve Winslow (Jill); grandchildren: Liam Doyle, Charlie Blankenship, and Ally Moss; nieces, Megan Marsh (Sean), Courtney Winslow (Kristoff), and Elena Worrall (Nick); best friend, Donna Shrode Reidlinger (Rich) and her children Karly and Lizzie. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Homer Winslow.

Lisa was born to Dr. Homer Winslow and Susan Winslow on September 18, 1965 in Oregon City, OR. She spent her youth in Oregon amongst a significant number of friends and loved ones, including Matt Moss, whom she met while swimming at the Tualatin Hills Swim Club in junior high. After graduating from Oregon City High School in 1983, Lisa briefly lived in Miami, FL and Houston, TX before returning to Oregon and rekindling her relationship with Matt. Lisa and Matt married on August 21, 1988 and had two wonderful children, Brandon and Ryan, who were unquestionably the loves of her life. While Matt's work briefly took the family to New Jersey, they moved to Houston where she remained until her passing.

Lisa had an infectious smile and bright personality, endearing her to everyone she met. Although she had a difficult time with medical issues due to a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in January of 1990, she never let these complications dim her spirit. Instead, she focused on living joyfully and being an active mother, raising two successful, confident and caring young men. Throughout Lisa's life, her grace and positivity never wavered.

Lisa's favorite place to vacation was the Caribbean, where she fell in love with sea turtles. She and Matt became certified scuba divers, and she found great joy swimming alongside the turtles. If you feel inclined, please consider a donation to the Sea Turtle Conservancy in Florida, where Lisa's adopted sea turtle resides today.
