While surrounded by loved ones, Allen Ray Strack entered his Heavenly home on April 7, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.

Allen was a beloved husband, loving father, brother, son, uncle, "Papa", and friend. He exemplified God through his kind heart and generous nature. He was a friend to many and kind to all.

He was born on October 12, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Edwin and Pauline Strack. He served in the United States Army from March 1968 to May 1974. Upon returning home, he began his career at Schlumberger where he worked for thirty-three years. On September 11, 1993, he married Elizabeth Patricia Hammons. Together they raised three wonderful children, Lindsey, Lori, and Billy.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Pauline Strack. He is survived by his wife Pat; his daughter Lindsey Collins and her husband Alex; his son Billy Hammons and his wife Kelly; his daughter Lori Faia and her husband Tony; grandchildren Daniele, Shelby, Walker, Mallory, Clayton and Clint; great grandchildren Nixon, Bowen, Dawsyn and Magnolia; sister Betty Harris and husband Kenneth and their children Jeffery, Jason, and Johanna.

Family meant everything to him. He and Pat hosted many family gatherings including holidays, dinners, birthdays and game nights. He would do almost anything for his children, Lindsey, Lori, and Billy. He far exceeded his role as Dad. He valued time with his grandchildren and saw to their every need. They will forever cherish the sweet memories of their "Papa". He was a servant to God. He and Pat regularly attended Trinity Lutheran Klein where he served his church in many roles.

Allen had many great interests. He was an extreme car enthusiast, a lover of all sports, a league bowler, a Wheel of Fortune expert, and a fan of Friday night dinners with friends.

Allen touched the lives of many and will forever be remembered. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Service will be held with family on Friday April 10, 2020 at Klein Memorial Funeral Home in Tomball, TX.
