Allen Gene Rust's Obituary
Allen Gene Rust, 88, of Houston, TX, was born on October 31, 1927, in Dickinson, ND, and passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, in Houston. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Josephine Katherine Rust, and his parents, Albert and Esther Rust.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a Comptroller in the photo finishing business which took him, Josephine, and their family from North Dakota to Washington State, California, Texas, Florida, and North Carolina. Upon retirement, he resided in Huntsville, TX, where he enjoyed golfing, working in his garage, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Rust and wife Anne, Joan Rust and Chris Hahn, Fred Rust and wife Barbara, Paula Rust and Melissa Floyd, and Susan Ginn; grandchildren, Phillip Rust, Justin Rust and wife Kylee, Jason Rust and wife Carine, Allen Rust, Ben Rust, Ashley Ginn, Parker Ginn, and Kassie Hyams; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Elizabeth Rust; a sister, Eileen Mathews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in Taylor, ND, under the direction of Ladbury Funeral Service, 1133 I-94 Business Loop East, Dickinson, ND 58601, 701-264-7195, http://www.ladburyfuneralservice.com .
