Allen Clyde Duke, Jr. of Tomball, Texas passed away on the sunlit morning of Saturday, June 13, 2020, at the age of 53.  He died suddenly while doing what he most loved – cycling. Known as "Sonny" to his family, Allen was predeceased by his mother (Billie Sue Duke), father (Allen Clyde Duke, Sr.), his eldest sister Cheryl Duke, and his nephew Eric Greene.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Jacqui, and his three children - Justin, Ty, and Lane Duke; his sisters – Debbie Baldwin, Sandy Jordan, and Cathy Whitlock; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. His strong Christian faith and his love of Jesus drove his life and was the foundation of all of his relationships.

Born September 20, 1966, in Warner Robins, Georgia, he was the youngest of five children. He graduated from Waller High School in 1985, continued his education at the University of Houston graduating with a B.S. in Biology.  He then combined his passion for dogs and desire to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps, specializing in training of K-9 units.  He dedicated himself to not only his family, but also to his professional career in crisis and risk management within the oil and gas industry, including capping oil well fires.  His drive and passion for the outdoors fueled his love of triathlons, including completing two Ironmans, multiple marathons, and other adventure races.

A celebration of his life will be held at Second Baptist Church (29900 Hwy. 290) in Cypress on Friday, June 19 ^th , starting with a reception at 10 a.m. and followed by a service at 11 a.m.
