Alice May Wilson, age 94, left this world peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 18, 2022. Born in Modesto on November 17, 1927 to Sheldon and Gertrude Smith she remained throughout her life a California girl. As a teenager she was a majorette with the American Legion Drum and Bugle Corp.

Always the social butterfly, she loved to dance and met her future husband, Robert Wilson, at the Officers' Club dance. They were married after Robert completed his military service and education. During their 57 years together they lived in many states and countries and along the way raised four children.

Alice was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed big band music, gardening, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was also a member of St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church and Love Lighters Senior Citizens' Club.

She is survived by her children Wendy, Blade (Rita), Pamela (Louis), Bruce and her grandchildren Diana, Alexis, Jenna (Chris), Christa (Steven), her great-grandchildren Grant, Presley, Greystone and her brother Harry.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Klein Funeral Home, located at 14711 FM 1488 in Magnolia, Texas. A gathering will take place one hour prior to the memorial service.
